Screen Savers

These animations were created as Flash screen-savers for Popular Power, a now-defunct San Francisco startup. Popular Power would let people earn money when using screen-savers that ran third-party processes in the background.

The screen-savers had to maximize visual impact while minimizing CPU utilization, allowing the third-party processes to run as quickly as possible.

The first animation is a cycle, a single repeating sequence. The second animation uses random numbers to parameterize Flash “movie clips” giving it a very low likelihood of repeating.
