Flash screen-savers created for grid-computing startup Popular Power.
Popular Power let people earn money when running third-party
software, often in conjunction with a screen-saver.
The screen-savers had to maximize visual impact while minimizing
memory and CPU utilization, allowing the third-party processes to run
as quickly as possible.
The first animation is a cycle, a single repeating sequence with a
very small footprint. The second uses random numbers to modify a
Flash movie clip so it never seems to repeat.
